Description
- NuTRIflex® Lipid Special is a sterile, triple-chamber bag for central venous nutrition.
- Provides essential amino acids, glucose, MCT/LCT lipid emulsion, and electrolytes.
- Indicated for patients in moderate catabolic states needing balanced macro- and micronutrients.
Composition
- Amino acids (all essential)
- Glucose monohydrate: ≈ 180 g per 1,250 mL bag
- Lipids: MCT and soybean oil – ≈ 25 g each per 625 mL chamber
- Electrolytes: Sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium, phosphate
- Trace element: Zinc
Directions for Use
- Mix contents of all chambers thoroughly prior to infusion.
- Administer via central venous access using sterile technique.
- Dose and infusion rate to be individualized based on clinical condition.
- Use within 24 hours of mixing.
