Description
- Diben® is a nutritionally complete, normo-caloric (1.0 kcal/ml) tube feed with fibre, specifically formulated for patients with or at risk of malnutrition and impaired glucose metabolism.
- Indicated for conditions such as impaired glucose tolerance, stress-induced hyperglycaemia, and diabetes mellitus.
- Features a modified carbohydrate profile with a low glycaemic index, high MUFA content, and added fish oil to support glycaemic control and cardiovascular health.
Ingredients
- Water, milk protein, modified starch, maltodextrin, vegetable oils (rapeseed oil, sunflower oil), fructose, medium chain triglycerides (MCT), flavourings, potassium citrate, fish oil, emulsifiers (E 471, soya lecithins), sodium chloride, choline hydrogen tartrate, acidity regulator (E 524), vitamins (C, E, B-complex, A, D, K), minerals, trace elements, green tea extract, and β-carotene.
Directions for Use
- Ready to use – No preparation required.
- Recommended daily intake:
- Supplemental nutrition: ≥500ml/day (525 kcal)
- Complete nutrition: ≥1350ml/day (1350 kcal)
- Administration via feeding tube (≥CH 5 for pump-assisted feeding; ≥CH 8 for gravity feeding).
- Shake well before use.
- Store at room temperature (15–25°C). Once opened, refrigerate and use within 24 hours.
